Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Kiruna collects and why. Kiruna is a Mac app for recording and editing screen videos, provided by Kirill Sidorets ("we", "us"). Keep it short: we collect as little as possible.

Your recordings stay on your Mac

Screen recordings, cursor data and exported videos are processed and stored locally on your device. We never upload, receive or have access to your recordings.

What we collect

Account. When you sign in, we store your email address to identify your account and send you sign-in links.

Billing. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status (active, canceled, and renewal date). We do not see or store your card details. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

We do not run analytics or tracking inside the app.

Service providers

We use Stripe (payments), Resend (sign-in emails), Neon (database for your email and subscription status), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only to provide these functions.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your email and billing reference from our database.
